Tag ''FREEDOM''

Hello Friends!

Let me share with you today my entry for the SIMON SAYS STAMP MONDAY CHALLENGE. This time I've created a 4th of July theme tag to honor and celebrate America. It was so much fun creating this tag. I selected some vintage fun elements and papers with blue, red and white tones for this tag and completed it with the inspirational word ''FREEDOM'' because this is what everyone enjoys in the US (including myself) I'm very thankful for this amazing country and all opportunities and loving people it brought into my life and family. I hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July, now let me show you the main and some close up pictures from my creation.

Hoop Canvas ''Memories''

Hello Everybody!

Its been a while since I participated in a challenge for MORE THAN WORDS challenge blog. As soon as I read the post and seen the inspiration samples provided by the DT, I knew I couldn't let one more month go without creating and playing with fabrics, paints, papers and different mediums just like the old times. I have created a mini canvas hoop about me and the most precious person in my life (my son Thiago) I used a couple of pictures from a photo shoot we had back in 2015, he looks so little and cute, now I look back and remember that day as if it was yesterday, added some frames (sewn and metal) and the inspirational word to complete the composition. I hope you like my project and hopefully I will be back soon with more creations to share. Now let me show you the main and closer pictures of my HOOP CANVAS ''MEMORIES''.

Make sure to check their blog and participate in their
amazing monthly challenges, its so much fun!!

Altered Box ''Le Grand Atelier''

Hello Everybody,

I'm so excited to share with you today my latest creation. This time I got inspired by the challenge hosted by SIMON SAYS STAMP MONDAY CHALLENGE. I loved the idea of creating something inside of a box, As I was reading the challenge post and looking at the inspiration provided by the design team, Ideas began to pop into my head and I ended up creating this ''sewing studio box''. My love for sewing and decoration contributed to this creation that I love so much and named ''LE GRAND ATELIER'' I hope everyone reading this post loves this altered box as much as I do, I truly enjoyed creating it. The majority of the embellishments for this box I handcrafted since I didn't have many sewing metal embellishments available, but that is the fun part right? Creating even to the small details. I used Tim Holtz embellishments and papers I purchased in their Simon Says Stamp Shop.

Here some pictures of my altered box LE GRAND ATELIER:

Journal Project ''The Beauty of a Heart''

Hello Friends,

I'm so happy to be sharing with you today my latest journal page ''The Beauty of a heart''.

I have created this page for the monthly challenge run by LINDY'S STAMP GANG. I love the vibrant colors of this month's mood board and inspired me to create a page about how beautiful we are in the inside, about the inner beauty.

I used the spray SEA MINT GREEN, HIBISCUS ROSE and MERCI BEAUCOUP MINT to achieve this vibrant composition.

ALTERED PROJECT ''THE KEY TO TIMELESS HAPPINESS''

Hello Friends!

I'm so happy to share with you today my latest altered project ''THE KEY TO TIMELESS HAPPINESS''

Fist of all, I would like to tell you how crazy I go over vintage style stuff! This is my favorite style to incorporate into my projects. When I read and seen the video from Sanda's tag, so many ideas instantly came to my mind. As I finished watching her video, my body instinctively walked me to my craft room where I pulled my stamps, paints, stencils, and brushes out. I began picking the elements to craft this clock I pictured in my mind.

I loved the theme she picked for the challenge. It inspired me to create this clock about a girl. Let me explain the meaning behind this original piece of artwork. The girl is shown twice, one picture is bigger than the other, this is to show WE ARE NOT THE ONES WE WERE YESTERDAY. Each and everyday we grow and change ever so slightly. Everyday we make decisions to evolve for the BETTER. This is why we also find a lot of greenery and flowery elements throughout the artwork. I also picked Finnabair's vintage clock frame and a lot of clock elements to show the meaning of time. We also find a KEYHOLE CHARM, HEARTS and a KEY to add the meaning ''LISTEN TO YOUR HEART, BE YOURSELF." That goes along with the meaning that ''we are the key to our success and happiness by doing what we love''.

Altered Project ''Life is Sweet''

Hello Everybody!

I am beyond excited to share with you my latest project ''Life is Sweet''.

I think this is my most favorite project so far! I absolutely love how it turned out! The colors are just so sweet and it inspired me to create a FRENCH STYLE FLOWER CART. This cart represents all of the sweetness of life and I believe we all create our own little happy world in which we would like to live in. This is what I have created for myself with my hobby, a sweet life with so much art, creativity and happiness. I am inspired even more now that we are so close to the beginning of spring here in New York.

Here's the main picture of my creation:

Here are some more detailed pictures:

This project is my entry for the following challenges:

Here's their amazing moodboard
The majority of the products I used for this project belongs to Prima Marketing inc.

Here's their sweet moodboard
I used their amazing spray colors ''Blazing black'' and ''Merci beaucoup mint'' in the background of my cart.

Here's their lovely moodboard
I used the chipboards ''Wagon wheels'' and ''Ornamental trim set''
I took inspiration from the french flowers in the bicycle and that french feeling in the ferris wheel.

MIXED MEDIA WARRIORS
